Sculptra® is a unique cosmetic injectable because, unlike other treatments that use a synthetic form of hyaluronic acid to instantly plump skin and smooth lines and wrinkles to add volume to different areas, this one is a biostimulator that forces the body to respond to injections by producing new collagen in the treatment area.

You don’t have to rely on the filler formula for results but instead will see your body respond to the treatment by naturally smoothing and filling different areas of the face and body. Treating the Face and the Body

Sculptra® can naturally restore volume into different areas of the face and body to accomplish aging and cosmetic-related goals. We can use it to smooth the most common lines and hollow areas that develop on the lower and middle half of the face due to volume loss, including smile lines, nasolabial folds, chin wrinkles, flattening cheeks, marionette lines, and hollow temples. We can also use it to improve the appearance of hip dips and to perform a natural, non-surgical BBL.

The Sculptra® BBL

This injectable can also be used in a treatment called the Sculptra® BBL which replicates the popular Brazilian Butt Lift but stimulates your body’s natural collagen for results. During the treatment, we will inject a specific amount of this dermal filler into precise areas of the buttocks.

In the weeks following your treatment, your body will produce natural collagen, which will increase natural volume, add fullness to the area, and even improve the shape and overall aesthetics of the buttocks. Results can last anywhere from two to five years, and patients may need a few sessions for optimal results.

How It Works

Sculptra® uses an active ingredient called Poly-L-lactic acid. Once injected below the skin’s surface, the body responds to this active ingredient by increasing natural collagen production.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

We customize treatment plans based on each patient’s aesthetic goals. Once you undergo an initial consultation and we determine which areas you want to treat with Sculptra®, we can give you more details about whether you would benefit from a single session or multiple for optimal results.

When Will I See the Results?

While you may see an initial increase in skin volume due to the filler formula’s presence beneath your skin, it will dissipate in the days following treatment. Even though you may feel like your skin doesn’t initially look any different, your body will respond to the injectable. It may take a few weeks to notice improvements, and the most visible results will appear gradually in the weeks and months following your treatment.

On average, patients began to see improvements in their treatment areas within six weeks of initial treatment. We can give you more details about what to expect from your unique treatment plan at your initial consultation.

How Long Will My Results Last?

Patients can enjoy results two years or longer after initial treatment and then schedule repeat treatments for optimal and long-lasting results.

What Happens During the Treatment Process?

Undergoing Sculptra® injections is similar to any other anti-aging cosmetic injectable treatment. First, we will cleanse the treatment area and then administer the right amount of product to your area of concern. You can resume your normal daily activities as soon as your treatment is over.

Is There Downtime?

There isn’t any downtime after initial treatment, but we will provide aftercare instructions. You must avoid sunlight, including UV lamp exposure, in the days following treatment. We will also give you instructions on how to massage the treated areas for five minutes five times a day for five days post-treatment to ensure optimal results.
